Forklift Training That Builds Skills, Confidence and Careers
At Redi-Lift Learning, we make forklift and logistics training simple, affordable, and accessible. Whether you’re looking to get a job, upskill, or train your workforce, we deliver high-quality training that fits around individuals and businesses.
We deliver forklift truck (FLT) training, manual handling, and safety courses from our own training schools in Coventry and Northampton, as well as on-site at customer locations across the UK.
Straightforward forklift training in Coventry and Northampton
A lot of people come to us unsure where to start. That’s completely normal, especially if you’ve never driven a forklift before.
We take the time to explain:
- which forklift course you actually need
- how the licence works
- how long training takes
- what it costs, and why
Our instructors have worked in warehouses, yards, and logistics environments themselves, so the training is realistic, memorable, and relevant. Our team is down to earth, honest, and approachable. If you’re looking for forklift training, do get in touch to discuss how we can help.
Do you need an accredited training centre?
One of the most common questions we get is about accreditation. You do not need to train at an accredited training centre to hold a valid forklift licence.
What matters is that:
- Your instructor is registered and qualified by one of four accrediting bodies
The training complies with the recommendations of:
- PUWER (Provision and Use or Work Equipment Regulations) (1998)
- HSE L117 – Rider operated Lift Trucks: approved code of practice. You are assessed as competent and safe to operate the truck
At Redi-Lift Learning, we meet the above standards. If you’d like to discuss accreditation, we’re happy to do that, just give us a call.
Forklift training for individuals
Many of our learners are:
- looking for work in warehousing or logistics
- changing careers from retail or hospitality
- paying for their own training to improve job prospects
- referred by job centres, recruitment agencies, probation, or rehabilitation services
- students or young people investing in their future,
Forklift training is open to everyone, but if you’re not sure which forklift licence gives you the best chance of the work you want, we’ll talk it through with you. If you need flexibility, we’ll do our best to fit you in quickly. If cost is a concern, we also offer payment plans.
We also support learners with English as a second language and learning difficulties. We always take the time to make sure everyone feels comfortable and confident.
Forklift and logistics training for businesses
We work with businesses of all sizes, from small warehouses with a handful of staff to large national brands.
You can choose:
- on-site training at your premises, or
- off-site training at our Coventry or Northampton schools.
We understand the pressures businesses are under, so we aim to make training as straightforward and efficient as possible. Courses can be tailored to your equipment, your site, and your team.
We also offer refresher training and ongoing support, helping businesses stay safe, compliant, and productive over the long term.
